Monday again, the weekends don't half roll by quickly! We had a good one, dinner on Friday night at the curry house, YUMMY! And of course we had to wash it down with loads of wine, lol.

On Saturday we had to take a drive down into London, aarrgghh, I love the country too much now...... at least we managed to get Stu some heli stuff so he has some building to do. We were home in time for the rugby and poor Stu stressed so much for Scotland, he really does make me laugh when he watches rugby.

Sunday was very relaxed, a lovely day spent in jammies, scrapping and chilling, although I did also manage to get through a mountain of washing.

32 sleeps till ScrapManic!!

It's snowing!! Not quite enough to lay in London but apparently it is at home, so I hope it's still there later so I can get some photos...

Rhonna Farrer is doing a 21 day break or make a habit challenge and I am really keen to join in but as I forgot it was starting on Tuesday, I am two days behind already. Not sure whether to just jump in now and carry on or try catch up.....although considering what the challenge is, it's perhaps better to start now and finish two days later...mmmmmmmm

Bbrrrrr it's so cold!! There is snow forecast for Friday in London, and we have had sleet and hail at home for the last two days. I heard yesterday that the cold weather is due to last till at least easter, YIKES!!

Anyway....my chatterbox papers arrived yesterday and they are every bit as gorgeous as I thought they would be. Looking forward to using them...

And this morning my black crocs came, so glad as i am going to use them for work, fed up with encomfortable shoes, lol. The blue ones were out of stock but they will send them as soon as they come in, which is in 10-14 days. Now just waiting on my order from the US and that's is for shopping...

Yeah right, lol!!

I had a lovely weekend! Stuart and I took a drive to the seaside on Saturday, I took loads of photos and it was lovely to smell the ocean again but we wern't too impressed with this coast, both prefering the seaside towns in the south.

On our way home we decided to stop off in Hitchin and have dinner. I took Stu to Zinnis, the little Italian place mom, Danni and I went to at Christmas. Had a gorgeous meal and a bottle of wine then went home and watched tv.

Sunday we had to get a few things from homebase and sainsburys in the morning then spent the rest of the day doing laundry, scrapping and watching tv. Of course Sunday means 24 and it's very exciting so far so really enjoying it.

Not much planned for the week although I relaly want to submit a few LOs to SI so I had better get on it and get them finished.

Oh and I ordered another two pairs of crocs today :o A black pair for work and a light blue pair to wear with my jeans. I love the pink and they are really funky but I think I need a calm pair too, lol. No deliveries for me today :( , waiting on the Chatterbox papers from Artbase and some bits I ordered from the US which I guess will take a little while still to get here.

39 Sleeps till ScrapManic! Getting very excited and nervous about what i'm taking, lol, I alwyas get like this thinking I either won't take enough or i'll take far too much!!

Woo hoo my new basic grey papers arrived this morning and they are so lush, can't wait to use them but knowing me i'll not want to break the pack up, lol.

Ordered the new chatterbox papers yesterday, yes all of them and I am now officially beyond broke so CANNOT spend any more money!! Maybe I need to get IT to disactivate the scrapping sites so I can't shop!

So firm plans for the weekend yet, but we may take a drive to the coast tomorrow and perhaps go see a movie, and have dinner out. Not sure what's on but it's Stus choice so I guess I have to go with what he wants to see anyway!

Didn't scrap my crocs last night cause we bought a movie, finally seen the last Star Wars, Revenge of the Sith. Not as good as the others but it ties the story together so now we know how Darth Vadar came to be....

My deliveries are all arriving which is so exciting!

The cat boots arrived on Tuesday - but the fit isn't great :( so I have sent them back, the shoe size was fine but they were awful tight over the arch of my foot. Oh well!!

Yesterday the two 8.2x11 albums arrived so i can start to fill them up. I think I am going to use the one as a BOM album, more all about me now than going from baby to now IYKWIM....

This morning my order from scrapbook central arrived, yummy ribbons, photo turns and two rolls of gaffer tape that I am going to use with the Daisy D's tags to make a tag book of Gram. I have loads of those little tiny photos that i must do something with and these papers are perfect Gram colours.
My crocs also arrived this morning and I am going to order a few more pairs :o Some black ones for work, and then a pair for me to wear out, maybe blue or purple or perhaps the fushia pink!! I tried then on earlier and haven't taken then off since!! Tonight I think i have to scrap them!!

The new basic grey papers are in so I am hoping my order somes tomorrow - can't wait! And then it's just my order from the US which may take a little while, perhaps it will be here by next Friday...

I found them!!

Crocs

A year today

since Gram passed away....feeling very sad but also glad that I got to spend some time with her in December 04, when she was still okay and before treatment. So my memories of her are good and she was healthy and well. RIP Gram, I love you and think of you often....

As I was working my way through my daily blog read I came across these on Donna Downeys blog! SO cool and the colours are so joyfull, as mum would say, lol. I need to try find a supplier here in the UK cause i'm sure they will make great gardening shoes for Stu and I!!

I have been really bad shopping at the moment....last week I placed a little order at Alive and Scrapping yummy chatterbox papers and MM rub on letters, and pre ordered the new basic grey papers from Scrapshed . Yesterday I ordered two 8.5x11 albums from Scrapitude , some ribbons from Scrapbook Central and some Cat boots from James and James . Now I just have to sit back and wait for it all to arrive!

Last Friday night Stu and I went to The Ship for John and Kays farewell, it was a great party but very sad as it is the end of an era. Even though most of us have traveled and spent time living back home or in Oz or have moved away, The Ship was always a place to meet in Mortlake. And John and Kay were the key, the central point! But I wish them well back in Ireland and I hope they are as happy there as I am in the country!

Well the dramas of yesterday had evaportated by the time I left work, and when I told Stuart what had happened I had to have a giggle. Problems are never really as bad as they seem at the time!!

i am still super excited about having a LO in SI magazine and couldn't stop looking at it, lol. What an egg I am :) I have to get a few copies to send home to Kerry, Mom and Vanessa.

Anyway I haven't done any more scrapping this week, maybe tonight though, I want to try make a few ATCs. I have no idea what the end result should be but anyway we all have to start somewhere.

Tomorrow night we have John and Kays farewell party at The Ship, which promises to be a good night. Not sure yet if we are staying down in London or having a dry night and driving home. Anyway it's been ages since I had a night out so looking forward to it.

Oh and it's 50 sleeps till ScrapManic!!

Oh well back to it I suppose!

No news

I hate to say it but i'm not sure I have anything to blog about..... Not much has been going on in the land of me, just a bit of scrapping, some housework and um well that's about it.

The rest of last week was quiet, but thank goodness it was a short one work wise. The weekend was also quiet, shopping on Saturdya morning for some work trousers for me. Then off to High Wycombe to a model shop to buy heli gear for Stu, unfortunatly they didn't have much so not really a worthwhile drive. But we did get around to see Mike and Chantal in their new house, it's great that they have also moved 'up north', lol.

Sunday I scrapped pretty much the whole day, until John and Brendalene and the girls came to visit in the afternoon.

So as I said not much going on in my life!

52 Sleeps till ScrapManic!!

Well I have a most enjoyable two days off, Monday I scrapped up a storm doing cjs, which I hate to admit I was so behind on. I kinda lost my mojo for them so found it hard to get into the rhythm and knowing that I was holding things back didn't make it any easier :(

Tuesday we went to collect the car which was in for a service, it has a shiny new exhaust, new cam belt and a few other belts which it needed desperatly, BUT *gulp* it cost £700. Stu was not a happy bunny! At midday a lady from the estate agents came around to do a property check, after all our worrying it was fine and she never even checked the house jsut asked if all was okay, phew! I then spent the afternoon scrapping and got a LO of Stu done.

Today I returned to work to 3, yes 3, pizza boxes of stash :o One was my junkits kit from Anna at Bumblebee crafts , the othe an order I placed at Artbase , I took the plunge and bought some alchohol inks and the love your handwriting book by Heidi Swapp . And the third was from Scrapbook central , yummy papers, ribbons and MM vintage hat pins, YUMMY!!

And in a minute i'm off to the post office and M&S! Thanks for reading and have a good day :)
